Crafty Friends: Trinity Stamps and a Discount!

For my card today I used a gorgeous stamp set called, Love You Bunches. I stamped it in Versafine ink using my new black Misti from Hero Arts.

Next, I watercolored the image with my Daniel Smith Watercolors.

To add some extra shading I used my Polychromos pencils in the background.

The last thing I did was to use my blender brushes to add some Distress Oxide ink to the background to give the appearance that the top right was light and the bottom left was dark.

I cut my card front out using dies from Honeybee Stamps and adhered it to a black card base. I added some sequins as a final touch.

Something pretty and just for fun: Simon Says Stamp!

Hi everybody! I'm just popping in today to share a card I made using the Simon Says Stamp Botanical Heart set. This set is so gorgeous!

I colored the image using my Arteza brush tip markers and a paint brush.

Then, I added some shadowing and extra details using my Copic Markers and a sharpie.

To finish the card off I added an "I Love You" die and sequins in Moonshine-both are from Simon Says Stamp.

Stamptember is Here!

Hey Everybody! Guess what time it is...? It's time for Stamptember! What is this you may ask? It's a one month stamping party put on by the fabulous Simon Says Stamp! All month long they will be offering discounts, exclusive stamp sets, collaborations with many wonderful stamp companies and giveaways!! The set I'm using today is called Handcrafted With Love and has a ton of teeny, tiny stamps that are perfect for all kinds of crafters.

I decided to use the envelope stamp and stamp it repeatedly onto the background. Then, I colored them in with my copic markers and added a little shadow below each envelope to make them pop.

I wanted a large sentiment to put in front of my tiny envelopes so I pulled out this I Love You die from Simon Says Stamp. It fit perfectly next to the gold embossed envelope in the center of my card. I added a thick, glossy layer to it with my Nuvo Crystal Glaze from Tonic Studios.

I used the "hand crafted" circle stamp to emboss a matching envelope and finished up my card by adding some of the new embellishments from Hero Arts.
