WONDEROUS WREATH
I didn't have a lot of time this morning but I wanted to make a quick card and I hadn't had time to play with the new Wonderous Wreath set yet. It has a matching framelit set that makes it really easy and fun to cut the wreaths out. The stamp set itself is photopolymer and makes it really easy to layer the leaves (notice I used Pear Pizazz and Wasabi Green leaves). It also has the option to add berries and a ribbon if you like. The framelits come with the words "Joy," and, "Noel" too. You can see the "Joy" on the card I made for my last post.
In this card I used slate gray for the background and embossed it for some texture. The wreath colors are Pear Pizazz and Wasabi Green with Real Red flowers.
The label was fun to figure out but a little tricky. I used the Decorative Label Punch to cut out the label in Real Red then I cut the label in half and set the pieces aside. The stamp I wanted to use (Happy Wonderful Christmas) wouldn't fit on the Decorative Label so I needed to create a slightly larger punch out. I cut a strip of Pear Pizazz and fed it through the punch from the front so that I would only be punching one end of the strip. Then I flipped the strip around (eyeballed the proper length) and punched the other side. I did lose the cute detail from the center of the punch but I still liked the way it turned out. I used the curly-que from the "W" of the "Happy Wonderful Christmas"to add a little more visual interest to the background of the label. Finally, I glued the red pieces to the back of the Pear Pizazz label. I topped the gray off with ribbon and used dimensionals to attach both the label and the wreath.

I hope you like it!
