Hey everybody! I'm wondering if you've checked out the Garden Party Release that Tonic Studios launched this past weekend? If not I hope you'll check it out because the new stamp sets are amazing. I've also got a hot deal for you! If you'd like to shop the new release (and anything else at Tonic except kits and gift cards) at a great discount here are some 15% Off links for you:
Tonic Studios USA: 15% Off

Just FYI, Tonic Studios UK ships internationally at a very affordable flat rate (approximately $8 USD). So, feel free to shop at either store.
Ok, now let's get on to my card! Today I've decided to use the Flora Background set and the Celebrate Sentiments set.
I started by stamping this gorgeous background stamp onto Craft Perfect Ultra Smooth Cardstock with Black Shadow ink. This is my go to ink because it's a hybrid ink that works with both water and alcohol based medium. I painted the first layer of this card with Nuvo Shimmer Powders. Then I layered colored pencils on top of the shimmer powders to add texture and shading.
These colored pencils are actually watercolor pencils but you can use them dry for a beautiful affect as well.
After I finished coloring I used my Glitter Gloss Aquaflow Pen to add clear glitter to all of the flowers. You can see the glimmer catching the light on the photo below.
After adding my heat embossed sentiment I embellished my card with Dream Drops in Indigo Eclipse. Then I mounted it onto a black card base with foam tape for some extra dimension.
Ok, that is it for today! Thank you all so much for joining me today. I hope you love these new stamp sets as much as I do and I'll see you back here soon. In case you're interested in doing a little shopping I'm linking the products that I showcased today down below. Remember to use the 15% off links I shared if you'd like a great discount.
